Changes in my study program: The first thing I would change in my program would be the hours that you go to college, I would have a rule that there are no classes after 5pm, well, it is complicated for students to leave late and take public transportation. In terms of subjects, I would change the amount of subjects seen each year, because, in some cases, it is too much and too specific. In addition, some subjects would not be compulsory. The study load would also be an issue to be addressed, specifically the evaluations, I would not have more than one evaluation per week. Another change I would have in this topic, would be to have a committee of each branch to organize the assignments, controls and tests, so that they are not on the same days. Blog post 4 Topic: Time travel to the past or future

I would like to travel to the past, because I have a lot of questions about how it was and what happened. If I had to travel to a specific time it would be to the Mesozoic era, because, I am very intrigued by dinosaurs and how the planet earth was at that time. The Mesozoic era is divided into 3 periods and I would like to know about them: The Jurassic period (200-145 million years ago), which began after the mass extinction that ended the Triassic period. This mass extinction allowed dinosaurs to flourish in the Jurassic period. This was the golden age of dinosaurs. In addition, it is interesting that also during the Jurassic, the first birds evolved from their reptilian ancestors, and all the large groups of mammals evolved, although individual mammals were still small. I am studying dentistry, a beautiful and long university career. In dentistry there are two very important things, first the theory, which is very dense and needs a lot of study time, and second the practice, here it is necessary to have a fine motor skills that develops over the years of practice. I would like to work in both the public and private systems. It is important to me to work in the public system, because dentistry is an expensive and inaccessible part of health care, so I hope that with my work I can help the most needy and vulnerable in the community. It is also important for me to work in the private system, because of my personal aspirations. BLOG POST 2: TOPIC: THE BEST HOLIDAYS EVER

The best vacation of my life has been in Europe. It was in the summer of 2019, during one month I got to know Spain, Italy and France. I went with my family: my father, my mother and my brother. First I arrived in Spain, I did a lot of walking in Barcelona along the Rambla. Also, I got to know Valencia and it was nice because I met my aunt again after 5 years.  I also got to know Italy, I arrived in Rome and I found it the most beautiful city I have ever seen. In Italy I also went to Milan. The last country I visited was France, I went to Paris, I saw the Eiffel Tower at night and it was really spectacular, it shone very bright. In Paris I visited a lot, I went to the Notre Dame and the Louvre. It is one of my best vacations because all the places were beautiful, also because I traveled with my family and I was reunited with my aunt and her family. Everything was magical, I hope to repeat it soon.

I would like to visit Egypt I want to know Egypt because it seems to me a special place with a lot of history. I find it very interesting, as well as a very nice place.  When I was in school, I learned about the country and what struck me most was the religion and the architecture.  Religion: is a fundamental factor in Egyptian culture and is very difficult to understand. It is a polytheistic religion, but with a tendency to monotheism since each region had a god to whom they mainly worshipped and then worshipped the others in a secondary way. Egyptian architecture: The pyramids are one of the main icons of Egyptian architecture. They consist of majestic stone constructions that functioned as tombs and allowed the pharaoh's soul to undertake its journey to another life. BLOG 5: How can your major make the world a better place

My dental specialty will be pediatric dentistry. It seems to me a beautiful specialty with a lot of social commitment. With this specialty it will be possible to have a world with more healthy smiles for boys and girls, as a consequence of this, peace of mind for their parents. I see myself in the future serving in the public system, with children in vulnerable situations, children with limited resources who need my help. I will do charity work for my goal, so that all little children can have an equal chance of having proper oral health. This is very important for the growth of boys and girls with good self-esteem and self-confidence, since a smile is a letter of introduction to society.

Topic B: Tell us about an expert/person in your field that you admire

I admire a Venezuelan influencer who lives in Argentina, her name is Daniela Fermin. She is also a content creator on tik tok and instagram. I admire her because she is a very didactic dentist, she informs with her videos in an entertaining way. She contributes with her educational content about everything that has to do with dentistry. She teaches about brushing techniques and what is ideal for each one, according to their needs. She also talks about cosmetic dentistry, which I am very interested in, such as veneers or facial fillings.  Also i think that is nice because she gives like about her content is that she gives advice to dental students on how to cope with the academic load, how to study and how to stay mentally healthy. I highly recommend watching his content, because, in addition to informing you, it will make you laugh and have a good time.
