Blog post 4 Topic: Time travel to the past or future

I would like to travel to the past, because I have a lot of questions about how it was and what happened.

If I had to travel to a specific time it would be to the Mesozoic era, because, I am very intrigued by dinosaurs and how the planet earth was at that time.



The Mesozoic era is divided into 3 periods and I would like to know about them:

The Jurassic period (200-145 million years ago), which began after the mass extinction that ended the Triassic period. This mass extinction allowed dinosaurs to flourish in the Jurassic period. This was the golden age of dinosaurs. In addition, it is interesting that also during the Jurassic, the first birds evolved from their reptilian ancestors, and all the large groups of mammals evolved, although individual mammals were still small. Another interesting fact is that flowering plants appeared for the first time, and new insects evolved to pollinate flowers. Continents continued to drift apart, and volcanic activity was especially intense. 


It really seems like a very different time to me and I would love to go and take pictures and see from afar, I would not stay there, as, I imagine, it is dangerous and also there would be no society to live in.

    I loved the period you chose to travel to the past. When I was little I liked dinosaurs too much, in fact my favorite was the Spinosaurus.

I tell you that my favorite piece of technology is my cell phone.   I have had my cell phone since last year, when I accidentally damaged my old cell phone. My parents gave it to me as a surprise after punishing me for not taking care of my stuff hahahaha. I really use it for everything, for communication, for university stuff, for the gym, for going out, for listening to music, etc. I find it a great tool for work and leisure. I use it quite a lot, almost all day, which is not recommended, but I am trying to reduce the time I use it.  I really like it because of how versatile it is, besides being a piece of technology with many functions, it has a perfect size.  Life without my cell phone must be difficult, I would no longer have access to fast communication, nor would I be able to search the internet, I would miss the music and take pictures of the good times.

I am studying dentistry, a beautiful and long university career. In dentistry there are two very important things, first the theory, which is very dense and needs a lot of study time, and second the practice, here it is necessary to have a fine motor skills that develops over the years of practice. I would like to work in both the public and private systems. It is important to me to work in the public system, because dentistry is an expensive and inaccessible part of health care, so I hope that with my work I can help the most needy and vulnerable in the community. It is also important for me to work in the private system, because of my personal aspirations. Working in both is also for the salary, which is a fundamental part and in the public system many times you don't earn according to what you work for, but I hope that with private work I can be paid as I want to be paid. Hello, my name is Catalina and I am 20 years old, I was born on March 11, 2002. My parents are Mario and Carolina and I have an older brother named as my dad, Mario. I study ondontology at the University of Chile, at the moment I have hybrid classes, which means that I have some classes online and others are presencial. It is a modality that suits me because it is more comfort to me be at my home than taking the metro to go to the classes. In my free time I like to go to the gym, i go 4 times a week. Also i like to cook healthier, for example, making brownies with protein and without sugar. Because having a healthy life helps me in my studies and my life style.
